New Launch: mini-ITX M/B with Intel® 12th gen processor

GIGAIPC, an embedded solution-focused subsidiary from GIGABYTE, is launching breakthrough and innovative range of products powered by Intel® 12th Gen Intel® Core™ desktop processors (Code Name: Alder Lake-S).   It is the first Intel® Core™ processors to feature performance hybrid architecture, the largest leap in Intel® Core™ Processor architecture and performance in years. This revolutionary chip design integrates up to eight Performance-cores, or P-cores, that enhance IoT workload consolidation, and up to eight Efficient-cores, or E-cores, that enhance background task management and multitasking. These platform enable embedded / industrial/ IoT applications with up to 1.36x times faster in single-thread performance and up to 1.35x times faster in multi-thread performance vs. 10th Gen Intel® Core™ Processors.

 

Firstly, the mainstream industrial miTX motherboard series is integrated with the new Intel® 600 Series Q670, H610 and the other industrial variant Q670E chipsets.  

 

mITX-Q670A mITX-H610A (for Embedded Applications) are integrated by Intel® H610 / Q670 Chipset.   The key feature is to support 4 independent display outputs via 1 x HDMI / 1 x DP ports up to 4K@60Hz and high-quality resolution and 1 x VGA / 1 x LVDS ports for traditional display devices.  Moreover, abundant I/O and expansions gives more flexibility and integration capability for embedded use cases, such as 1 x PCIe x16 (Gen4 x16) slot for graphic cards or add-on card, M.2 M-Key with PCIe x4 to expand storage capacity.  

 

mITX-Q67EB (for Industrial Field) is powered by Intel® Q670E Chipset, to support Intel®13th/12th Gen processors under 65W.  Intel® Q670E Chipset also supports the Intel® Ethernet Connection with both 1 Gbps and 2.5 Gbps options, which are shown as part of mITX-Q67EB specification, to provide advanced wireless networking capability.   Comprehensive IO ports and expansion slots, such as 4 x SATA 6Gb/s Ports 2 x COM ports, 4 x USB 3.2, 6 x USB 2.0, 1 x 2280 M.2 M-Key, 1 x 2230 M.2 E-Key, 1 x PCIe x16 (Gen4 x16) and so on, to offer more possibilities for integration of industrial computing applications.
